There is literally nothing you can do that wold benefit you & your country than becoming a Catholic priest. Saw someone in the last thread say he was contemplating it, but thought getting married & having kids would be better for the West. This is wrong for these reasons:

As a priest you (obvious spiritual elements aside):
- Depending on your parish, have anywhere from 100 to over a 1,000 people listening to you every Sunday. Even more coming to you for baptisms etc. This gives you more of a reach to instill strong values, encourage people to have more children etc than you'll ever have as non-priest
- You're also likely to have at least one school over which you automatically become the head governor. Allowing you to implement certain practices in that school (more focus on reading the Catechism, teaching the evils of modern liberalism etc)
- You automatically become part of a brotherhood that is spread throughout the globe. Making it easier for networking & getting people involved in campaigns etc

tl;dr if you're not married, give serious consideration to the priesthood

I've thought about it, but I don't really have a lot of faith. I admire the Catholic Church for keeping people from being degenerate, but when it gets into metaphysics, I am skeptical/agnostic. The Thomistic arguments are compelling, and I think belief in God is more reasonable than atheism, but I still lack conviction.

None of the disciples were married. Peter had a mother-in-law, but his wife is never mentioned. This indicated he was a widow; no barrier to the priesthood.
Also, for example, say a parishioner is dying. The priest must go and give that person the last rites. However, what if his wife is seriously ill? He would have to chose & either fail in his duties as a priest or fail in his duties as a husband

Which one of the 30,000 denominations are you a part of, and what year was that denomination established?

Also what form of heresy do you believe in, justification by faith alone?

It should frighten you to know that whatever sect you're a part of, the Vatican 2 sect loves and accepts you and considers you to be a part of the universal church and agrees with you on justification.

Routine is important.
Set aside some time of the (I do it first thing in the morning & before bed) where you read the Bible.
Get some books on the saints. I recommend trying to get some biographies of saints from your country. Helps connect you to the Catholic past of your country.
Try a traditional devotion. First Fridays, a novena, something like that. That gives you something to achieve & something to strive for

Francis isn't a Catholic. The Catholic church is ONE faith, not of heretics. Heretics lose office, and lose membership in the church automatically.

You want to find a group of people that have a building and a community so that you can form social bonds and have friends and a place to go to with things to do. The "sede" position is materially very difficult because it means a lot of material, especially social, difficulties in ones future. The reality is that the abomination of desolation has arrived, and Christ never promised easy lives for his followers. Christ said we must give up everything to be his disciple.

What the church really is, is a collection of souls with primarily two markers: 1) water baptism 2) the one faith. St. Athanasius (who lived during the Arian crisis) said that if the faithful were to be reduced to a handful of true believers, they would be the Catholic church. The church is not external things like cathedrals. Those were things that were a part of the church which have been usurped by apostasy, but most dioces in the Catholic world were usurped by Arians during that crisis.

Apocalypse tells us that we must "come out" of "Babylon," however it calls "Babylon" "the great" and then says it, at one point has "fallen." Peter writes about Babylon as code for Rome, and as where he and the church is. So Babylon, where the church is, was great for a time, until it falls. The idea that the vatican and its infrastructure is something that we must abandon is accurate, but protestants have the timing all wrong. Protestants follow a man (Luther) who was a Catholic monk, and who had anal battles with the devil, who just invented novelties to justify his sinful life. But the church at that point preached and professed the absolute necessity of Jesus Christ. Vatican 2 is where Babylon falls, because there is where the rejection of the necessity of Christ occurred.

Being a Catholic in this society means rebelling against it.

These are by far the worst times to keep faith, or to acquire it, but I have done so.

Pray the rosary, pray it every day. Marry and have children. Teach them about Christ and the Church. People come and go, but His Church is eternal, and on this Earth until the world ends.

Give some time to forming yourself as a Christian.

Read articles at places like the National Catholic Register.

Watch Scott Hahn and Journey Home and other sound Catholic material on youtube.

Read books from Ignatius Press.

The trick is to find something that you *enjoy* and that genuinely *interests* you that will also help to build up your spiritual life.

Pray about this, and ask God to lead you to find such material, and ask for tips on threads like this.

I am sure the material is out there -- because there's a very wide scope of such material -- it's just a question of your finding it.

In particular, I'm sure there's materials that would help you to overcome the areas that you struggle with in terms of belief.

You might, for example, try a classic 20th century autobiography of conversion like A Severe Mercy by Sheldon Vanauken, or The Seven Story Mountain by Thomas Merton. (A Severe Mercy is a superb book that tells the story of Vanauken's Christian conversion; he later, after writing that book, became a Catholic.)

(Although he's not a Catholic, and probably not even a Christian, Jordan Peterson's current Biblical Series has good information and perspectives on the essential soundness of a Biblical pov.)
>>
>>138239946
PS.

When I say, "Give some time to forming yourself as a Christian," what I mean is, if you spend 3 hours watching TV or browsing /pol/ or whatever, then try to balance that with, say, an hour devoted to something that will tend to build up your Christian faith.

Because the natural tendency of the culture that surrounds us and immerses us will be to pull us away from the things of the spirit. So we must counteract that with acts of the will -- through prayer and spiritual reading and other things that will bring us closer to God.
>>
>>138243040

To break from the one true church of Christ is to put yourself outside of salvation. I recommend you read up on how full of contradictions Luther's life was, especially his own letters detailing his interactions with satan. You should see how his "newfound biblical Christianity" which he "discovered" after a thousand years of it being "lost" is a putrid diabolical joke. To follow a man who was essentially possessed is utter foolishness.

Wouldn't really say there's a 'Catholic perspective'. I've read For My Legionaries & I thought it was good. There's nothing wrong with identifying elements in your country you deem subversive. St. Thomas Aquinas says a a man has 3 duties: to God, to his parents & to his country. It's literally a Catholic virtue to be patriotic. It's how you go about demonstrating that patriotism that's the contentious part
