However my initial point was to address the idea that when the terrorist offensive first took place around a couple of weeks ago, and Hezbollah said that they were victorious, I wanted the army to deal with them in the first place. Hezbollah is seen as Lebanon's defenders (a resistance, ayre fiyon) and I'm sure you know that. They had no right to fight them. They're probably going to use these events as leverage to get a more upper hand in the house of parliaments and in the ministry. Wasta hahaah.

When all the militias in lebanon were stripped of their weapons (Lebanese Forces, kataeb, Socialist Nationalist, PLO), the only militia that wasn't stripped was Hezbollah. Why? Michel Aoun, despite being our president, was with him at the time (around 2003 when the militias were disbanded). In my opinion, the only force in Lebanon that should have weapons is the army, and Hezbollah completely throws that out the window.

Hezbollah may be praising the army but there is a high chance this is all for show. If hezbollah takes Lebanon, this will deal a huge blow to Israel and neighboring countries because in this case, Iran will technically be touching borders with Israel.
