It is unfair to call that Christianity. That's secularism through and through. These people may meet in a church, but these congregations stopped believing in any real God that wasn't made in their own image long ago. It's possible to be gentle and "hate the sin, love the sinner" (so to speak) without turning into a degenerate. The church did it for 1500 years until things started falling apart.

Christendom was charitable and fair, but also stood for what was moral and true.

Developed out of and shares a tradition with, but completely different and distinct.
