I love a clean home and always have since I moved out of my parents years ago. They always kept and still do keep a messy house and I hated it so in my adult live I overcompensated by keeping an extremely clean house. It got so bad I literally needed to get myself a dog to counteract my extreme OCD in relation to cleaning and my house.

Thankfully my ex-wife kept up the house nice while I worked, at least for awhile. Women become lazy when they become housewives it seems a lot of times. We are divorced now and I am back to a clean house. I only need to clean on the weekends when the kids come over.

Thankfully the divorce was cordial so she ends up moving out of the house I paid for and is living with some other guy she met long after.
