All memes aside, out of all the cities I've visited in Europe and North America, Bratislava had the most beautiful women. As far as I can tell, the people there generally support a conservative, traditional way of life, and it works well for them. The old town in Bratislava is lovely too, although I'm guessing as you move further out into the commie block areas it turns into a bit of a shithole which is probably less comfy.

A council sounds pretty communist, it won't work, just like 99% of all Eastern European Administrations.

Constitutional Monarchy would be better, perhaps electing from Nobility out of every Country, with a parliament representing the People and state, which is elected by the People directly, corperating with them and the goverment, a Senate consisting of representators of parties,crown territories,lands and ethnicities and finally a Royal Council serving the King/Emperor and preparing and helping him to rule over the Country, together with a ministry from the parliament, a prime minister,chancellor and some advisors helping him.
But this is just one example.

I guess Slovakia wasn't that badly hit by a similar mortgage crisis we had after 2008. That would explain a lot of the economical advantage they now have over us. Also, if I understand it correctly they cut welfare earlier and to a broader extenct than we have, but I would welcome a Slovak explaining their welfare system (including pensions).

What mostly interests me is how they have a lot less fat people than we have. I would have thought we have similar cuisines, but then I guess that's not entirely true.

One reason I proposed having Austria-Hungary back, is because my German ancestors were from Bohemia, the Sudetenland, around the area of Leitmeritz they settled.

I read some of the memoirs of my Great Grandfather, he was Born in 1899, later he was serving on the Italian Front in WW1.

In 1913, he finished School and his father brought him to some farmer in a village 2 hours of footmarch away, but after one year of service, his farmer didn't desire his help anymore, he then got to various other Sudetengerman Farmers, some were good to him, others were unfriendly Egoists, with wifes cooking awful meals.

But after he was fired by some Austrian Officer, who was not going to the front because he had some land and a Company to take care off, in which my Greatgrandfather was employed(It was his 15th Job), he had enough of that.

He never was lazy, just working conditions sucked or bosses were unfair, he temporarily moved to some Czech woman's house, the mother of one of his classmates, speaking broken German and migrating there because she wanted a better life.

But then some guy proposed him to work in the army camp, they were missing a caretaker.

He sneaked through the garden because he had no personality papers to Show the guards and then asked the woman in the cantine if he could work there.

He was 16 and his last Job hadn't really brought him wealth or fed him sufficiently.

The owner of the cantine was a SLOVAK, he spoke fluent German and Czech, just like his brother and sister.
