I agree with your point people will spin any shit as a win, but honestly what could Bannon do in his role as Chief Strategist after Kelly was brought on board? He was on borrowed time the moment that appointment happened, arguably had more influence while Priebus was on-board because he was a push over (and they even did their little CPAC appearance where he dominated the conversation).

I was pretty upset when Bannon was released from the White House when it happened but think he can do more back at his roots as the Executive Chairman of Breitbart than in his previous role. I know you will think this is spin but I have thought on it and Bannon's strength during the campaign was from his extreme provocateur actions and not really on his day-to-day strategy (even on his infamous white board, "repeal and replace Obamacare" was the number one priority which obviously has failed).

I will wait and see how he handles his role returning at Breitbart before I make complete judgement, but I feel good that he is back in his element and think he will do better there (and still having access to the President of the United States for consul ala Roger Stone).

We will see.

We are optimists, we know that this is the absolute best shot we have for the next 8 years to turn the ship that is America around. Things have been going so poorly for many decades and this is the one movement that actually wants to save white America.

We aren't little children playing politics, this is very serious business. We need to back Trump practically no matter what happens because he is the only one who had the balls to say millions need to be deported and the American worker needs to be supported in the face of collapse.

No matter how bad things get the worst thing that could happen is that reasonable people could give up and hamper the effectiveness of the administration by wimping out.

There will be more firings, bombings, fagges, blunders, etc. It will happen again and again but you need to not lose sight of the goal. Everyone is being incredibly melodramatic right now over a single departure as though this dooms the administration. We have faith in Trump do act independent of everyone for the interest of America and know that the best option is to throw our support behind his ideals as hard as we can.

That is what I am most worried about Bannon being gone (especially in regards to Afghanistan since him and Trump were the lone voices against more entanglement). Unfortunately I am already ready for that to ramp up both because of the NSC meeting today (which was full of voices in favor of) and Trump being isolated in not wanting more foreign intervention.

Bannon being more useful outside the White House doesn't discount his usefulness (especially for that specific area) inside the West Wing. I hope Trump listens to his heart and still keeps in contact with people who do not want to go down that road, but also know he is someone who will do what he believes is best with the information provided, and if it's all from hawks he will take a hawkish position.

Bannon was also the sole voice (that was public) about knowing we are in a checkmate with North Korea reguarding the situation in Seoul. Bannon was honest about military intervention being off the table now due to the astronomical cost of lives but he is no longer there.

In North Korea's defense, they saw what happened to Ukraine after they voluntarily gave up their nuclear weapons (Annexation from the other major nuclear power) and have a self-preservation reason to attain, and never give up, a credible nuclear deterrence. Obviously we are going to prevent that from happening to avoid even a minuscule chance of nuclear conflict.

Nuclear weapons were used in warfare less than a century ago, just because it hasn't happened since 1945 doesn't mean it's a natural law; the threat is always there if two nuclear countries engage in conflict.
