I grew up in a hippy part of the country and way back then, all the hippies distrusted the government. Said they were fucking with the water. Inventing new drugs to get minorities hooked on it. Fast forward to now, and conspiracy theorists are vilified. You must adhere to the narrative. The government is good. The government is here to help. Anyone who doesn't like big government is some sort of nazi militia cult prepper.

Alex Jones is one of the very few places you can still get conspiracy theories. Conspiracy theories are good for society.
