He said crazy insults about the Mexicans that cross the border illegally and the media tried smearing him by inferring that he must have meant all Mexicans.

He also said we must combat radical islamic terrorism, and the media took it to imply that he meant all muslims.

That, and the fact that he refused to say in a single sentence, "I disavow neonazi's and hate you."

You see, Trump has never actually said racist things, nor has he ever actually supported racist people.

The media played the implication game by making leaps of logic that can sensationalize the public. If Trump actually disavowed the neo nazi's that would mean he actually aligned himself with them, which plays into the media's game.

Everything Trump says at face value has never been hateful at all. In fact, most of what he says is how much he loves people. The only time he insults someone or a group is if they have caused harm to others or if they insulted him first.

People think Trump starts shit, but all he does is dish out the heat back at people who started shit with him.
