Been browsing 4chan for 11 years now. Despite the volatile nature of /pol/, I'd say that it's one of the most consistent boards on 4chan, it's always on topic albeit with its provocative posts.

Only thing to do here is just trim on legitimate shitposts.

Back in the days of prehistory there was a mythical /new/ board made for posts about news. It quickly became racist. Back in those days we still had the interracial posting and all of that shit, but no paid shills or flags. Also lots of tripfags. Moot received some Jewish money for a side project, canvas, and decided to axe /new/ and r9k. Another thing I'd like to add is the mods should stop allowing things to go on for days at a time before suddenly cracking down on it without any warning whatsoever. We've seen it happen before and it's just disruptive and confusing. If something is against the rules and someone gets mad over it, tell us why mods.
