It's really not "watering down" traditional values. Adding a purple effect to an image doesn't instantly water down the image's message. Properly done fashwave also does require some talent, as it is not very easy to create a high quality one in Photoshop.

As I've said, it's a handy tool to make the good values more libshit-friendly. Once you use this as a weapon, you're not a backwards racist redneck who doesn't know what a computer is. You may be as traditional as your ancestors were a thousand years ago, but you're also modern.
