I can't believe it has come to this.

I have gay friends and family members who I admire and care for very much. I always thought that I would have their back on this issue. I have no attachment to any religion or political party.

But the smug and condescending attitude which assumes your allegiance and publicly and shamelessly sneers at the 'hypothetical' anti-gay marriage troglodyte, along with the constant promotion and normalisation of the most degenerate sexual proclivities (that supposedly represents the "best" of the gay community) has all but left my my mind made up.

All they had to do was be humble about it.

Instead they tried to tell us that sucking dildos and walking each other around on leashes in public or that kids twerking was just totally fine. Instead they implied that heterosexuality was unnatural and that deniers just needed an exorcising cock up their ass. Instead they conflated just about every sexual identity and socialist policy under the one shitty umbrella. They ruined a fucking rainbow for christ's sake.

The unjustified sense of moral superiority and the ceaseless bullying will not be rewarded.

I will be voting against gay marriage and the only apology I make is to the gays who know of the damage inflicted by those who they let define them.

Is equal marriage seriously a debate topic in Australia? Never knew they were so backwards. Some people are gay and want to get married. Get over it and be happy ffs!
