I watched wrestling most of my life, way back to the early 80s till 2002. I tried watching WWE this week and I couldn't finish it. It's so polished and the promos are bad skits...the visual business and dazzle of every entrance...there's just no real tension or drama. Vince has turned fans into the cued audience...people cheer and bo because they know they are supposed to. No real heat. Incredible tumbling acrobats with highly inventive moves but I'm sad to say, they aren't the same storytellers during a match that the greats were.
