My family is fine; grandpa lived through the war and fled from the GDR so he's a realist, though he's never been aligned with Nazi ideology. Mom's a kindergartener so she gets to witness firsthand what we're doing to ourselves - I could probably convince her, but she's rather simple-minded so I'll let things work themselves out. My sis is the typical German girl and just blocks out bad news, but she's also taking pills to stay sane so I make sure not to be more than mildly confrontational in her presence.
Now my circle of friends stems from a time when I had no interest in politics, so while they're all very nice people, their no more than passing interest means they'll send me le Trump memes and gender shit. It would take more energy than I can muster to convince them, since I'd have to provide most of the informational basis they lack. So I'm extremely careful with how I word things and what I disclose to them, while not taking positions alien to me.

I was able to drag my parents to the right over a few years. My girlfriend is still a work in progress but she is coming along nicely.
