Ok, I will briefly answer this.
The Left knows about the danger Islam represents but chooses to ignore it. They think if they are nice and complacent they will be spared in a muslim majority future.
Some of the left is deeply fascinated with authoritarianism though (especially women) and love Islam for that.

I think for the higher powers they are aware of what Islam stands for and represents, but their desire to destroy the west is so strong that they will ally themselves with any party who will aid them in their goal of destroying the west.
