I was a California transplant, but not by choice. Parents divorced and my mom moved us up north to live with her parents. Spent 12 years in California, but I've been in Oregon for 20 so I consider myself an Oregonian.
I miss the wide-open skies. I live in Beaverton now and we have the claim to the "most diverse city" in Oregon. We are still 70% white though!
