My guess would be primarily that its a matter of the camera settings and daylight in the two photos. Anyone who knows a thing or two about cameras *(ive taken photography courses as part of my degree in journalism) knows that a few settings changes or the lighting at a location can drastically change the appearance of colors in photos. Evidence of this can further be confirmed by looking at the various videos of the car crash- in almost all of them the various colors of the various vehicles, signs, etc, are slightly different. Now realize that we are talking about photos from completely different times/places/angles relative to sun position/time of day and its plausible this is merely a lighting thing.

Personally, I find the "conspiracy/setup" angle to be a little convoluted and also uneccessary. The much preferred and reasonable narrative I believe is this:

Why were they blocking the road? They had no right to be in the road.

Furthermore, that wasn't a defensive action from a peaceful protest. Those were attackers just catching up with an identified target.
