Bonus: Most people don't know fuck all about real national socialism, and you can basically just disguise the doctrine of national socialism under a different name and no one will know the difference (apart from maybe removing a few lines about the 'juden'). Case in point: I joined a 'mock government' online a few years ago and basically took all of my talking points directly from the NSDAP. There's already lots of center-leaning democrats; I used to consider myself one until this past election. I'm pretty sure if we keep good optics and keep our cool it'll happen by itself. Like you said, the farther left we can push them the closer to center we become.

And besides, lots of my friends consider themselves leftists but their philosophy seems close to classical liberalism. They are likely the next wave who will eventually join our side through socratic reasoning partnered with patience and kindness.
