How bad is Waterloo?

If you dont mind a small town. Marathon or anywhere around that area in NW Ontario. The people you have to deal with is the natives sometimes, but otherwise its quiet and has everything you need.

University of Waterloo was gone by the late 90's. Laurier was gone as of a few years ago. Conestoga is now gone also. It used to just be contained to that but now there are hordes of muslims flooding in like you wouldn't believe. And also every single detached home is being bought by either a Chinese or Indian. But loads of Chinese are flooding the housing market with Tesla driving realtors from Toronto.

Tons of apartments/condos sprouting up over the last few years really changing the landscape and filling them with international students while ruining places to park.

Billion dollar LRT being installed. It looks really nice, but no one except students will use it.

Its turning into a socialists dream, when for so long it was a conservative's suburban paradise.

Way too much competition for jobs as there are so many rich 3rd worlders who you now compete with, and also the annoying diversity programs.

Its quite sad. I've been here 30 years, pretty much all my life and the change over the last 5 years has been crazy.

I live in Kitchener, not too far from downtown and it's not so bad here, only one non-white in the neighbourhood and that's some guy's Indian trophy wife. It was pretty bad where I went to high school though, so I guess that speaks volumes about the future prospects of this area.

Brampton or markham are no go zones. Fuck the gta in general but those 2 are awful
