This. Hell even dogs do this. My dog (golden retriever) had never seen a black person until recently (live in the country, not about to take my dog for a walk in the ghetto) and her first encounter was surprising. She immediately tensed up and started growling, and the black guy wasn't even being threatening, she just wasn't having it, so rather than risk a bite or lawsuit I took her out of the situation. Not that I am displeased by her reaction mind you, but it was nothing I had instilled in her training.

People and animals are naturally suspicious of things that are different, it's a pretty basic characteristic.

The kids are probably basing this off personal experience of encounters between their family and white strangers. At that age it's pretty unlikely they would have encountered a white person who was being mean or cruel to them in anyway, and the whites they see on TV fit this mold as well. On the other hand, they have probably had some experiences with black family members that their child mind categorizes as "not nice." This isn't implying that blacks are abusing their kids necessarily, (though some may) just that in any normal parenting situation the black mother is going to have to punish her child at some point, and this justifiable act will be deemed by the child as "not nice."
So if black momma, and black grandma, is spanking there kid, and black brother is teasing her, etc. it would be easy to associate her own race as being not nice.
Whereas if she has only met 1 white person and that person was nice or pleasant to them they will have a positive impression.

point being, there's a lot more going on behind these kids actions than feelings of black loathing, or societal views that whites are nicer.

i had a black friend at about the age of 6
i had him over for my birthday parties and everything and at this time i never once in my entire tiny mind did i think of him as any different as any of my other friends

i moved away and after about 15 years i came back to that old town for trip to gamestop and strangely enough he recognized me and i knew who he was from then on
but i didnt look at him like i thought i would he was different from me and i knew it he was simply another race he didnt act thuggish or this or that he acted just like you or me but simply black instead

I don't think of Obama as a nig. He is a black man. They are very rare, but I've met a few. There are exceptions to every rule.

Generalization is important. We can't know everyone and we can't trust what we don't know. If experience says most blacks are fucking stupid and dangerous then we have to expect them to be stupid and dangerous. We must just be ready to reevaluate the individuals we meet that are not stupid and dangerous.

Racism is real. It is a generalization. It is not inherently evil. The radicals/fanatics who take things to far can be found everywhere.
