In fact saying that you are an organ donor is actually a better way to stay alive because EMTs will try extra hard to make sure you don't die and get sued. To donate your organs you generally have to be brain dead and just have basic respiration. Head trauma, drownings and attempted hangings are the best candidates. Never Police shootings; too much blood loss and if dead, the body will lie in situ for the length of the investigation.
