Despite Trump's rhetoric on the Trans service member issue, nothing about the Department of Defense's policy on them has changed. It is only a recruitment freeze to win Conservative brownie points.
All service members still receive their mandatory training on sexual harassment, which now includes how to "respect" transsexuals (respect, here meaning to bend over backwards to comply with their ridiculous demands).

The next generation of military leaders, the impressionable just-out-of-high-school recruits, are being actively brainwashed. Nobody with traditional values can survive in the present cultural climate in our military long enough to attain a position high enough to change any of this.

It's past the point of no return. We lost. We'll need to get our Right Wing Death Squads somewhere else.

They may not agree, and they may not like it, but they're forced by regulations to stay in line. If you don't use a trans person's new pronoun (there are only male and female, but they can switch) then you get a SHARP violation in the same way that you would if you were making fun of a male by referring to him as a girl. There is no way to comply silently to this new trans thing. You either submit or you're fucked.
Those who refuse to submit won't last in the military. With the government targeting children with this, by the time they're old enough to join, they'll already agree with the regulations. Then, the left will move onto the next issue.

Think of back when it was a huge deal when they completely desegregated the Armed Forces. That generation couldn't have even thought of women outside of being nurses, or fags being allowed to serve at all.

These changes aren't so easily undone.

Just..... yeah. Life is still stressful and rough on the outside just in different ways. Hit the ground running, get workin or studyin or whatever you plan on doing and dont expect life to be 100% fine just cuz yer finally free.

I think the biggest adjustment issues most of my buddies and assorted other vets I know have stem from the 4, 6, or 8 year old fantasy that a DD214 means an end to all your troubles.
