I get your point.

I just mean in comparison to other opioids, say oxymorphone or whatever, heroin is particularly histaminergic. Hives and general sub-anaphalytic symptoms don't help when you're crawling through a brushy trench to do something.

Same goes for modafinil. Probably why it's only widespread in pilots/chairforce and only approved for some special ops situations.
