I tried going on that site but it was too bloated.

Me, Stefan Molyneux and armoured sceptic are all there. I have a horrid feeling YouTube will just buy it, especially if they try to convince people they're neutral.

Vidme does not believe in free speech, nor do they have any speech protections. They are just another SJW platform

Youtube, vid.me and all similar service all have the same flaw. Content Creators download videos onto their servers and therefor don't own the content or the network that provides them with eyeballs.

Anons need to push bitchute. It is a p2p opensource video sharing platform that can play in your browser like youtube. The videos are storage is decentralized. The service started last december.

Vid.me does have a few promising elements, like in-built fan funding, which will help prevent advertisers getting a choke-hold on content creators like they have on YouTube.

Sadly, discovery on the site sucks dick. On top of that, it has seemingly gained no popularity as a platform since its initial run in 2015.

I hope we see a legitimate alternative to YouTube come up. The site is fucked rn and it is only getting worse.

Dunno of vid.me has a shot, though. Seems pretty dead.
