I'm right wing and was feeling like we were making huge strides fast. Trump, while not a conservative, eschewed political correctness and sent the correct message to the left. Most importantly we were slowly helping people realize there isn't much difference between a BLM rally and a KKK lynching. Charlottesville undid all that. We needed to demonstrate that our culture is superior because we can keep from violently chimping out. Well that's what happened, the white equivalent of "they're not sending their best" showed up to Unite the Right and made us all look like a pack of feral niggers chimping out over MUH WHITE DICK. 12 yo edgelords will celebrate a dead antifa girl, but you know if the tables were turned we'd be calling them violent savages and we'd be right. Lastly, these "white supremacists" managed to hold a violent rally and only kill a white person. Charlottesville didn't make our side look "supreme"
