Well it wasn't really a riot. Just some alt-right and Nazi LARPers who came to hold a rally. Supposedly to protest the remove of General Lee's statue from Lee Park. Before the rally even got started antifa/BLM were throwing rocks, piss bottles, teargas etc and the mayor/Gov shut it down and told the cops to force everyone in Lee park out in to the mass of goons. So it's 100% the mayor's, governors and chief of police's fault. Who all just so happen to be staunch liberals.

Pic is the downtown mall minutes before the car of peace. See those police, they came from the exact spot it happened. Lil fishy. And yeah I was right around the corner..

Rallies like this have been going on for a year. Everyone knows to be ready to fight because cops are not going to defend anyone on the right
