If she gets offended and makes statements or tells you to do anything specifically like "you need to stop doing this behaviour" you can drag her before the ethics board for unethical conduct. The standards for psychologists are so fucking high we are constantly walking on egg shells. So you can say what you like in confidentiality. If she breaks confidentiality and Dobs to teachers drag her through the courts. Anything you say to her does not leave that room.

My clinical psychologist and a specialist I had testing with to make sure I got a proper diagnosis both suggested that I apply for it.

I dropped out of school, have never worked, don't drive, am at home 99% of the time unless I'm at the psychologist or gym.

Going to the gym is the only thing the psychologists have managed to get me to do, and I only do it because I go at a time when the gym is empty, and I only go there because it's in walking distance, I don't drive, nor do I take public transport so I can't get anywhere

I can't apply for a job because

1) I have no qualifications
2) I have zero work history at 30
3) I don't drive or use public transport

That's pretty much it. I've literally been shut-in for almost 15 years now. My parents always just had the attitude that I'd eventually get sick of being at home all the time and they've got busy lives themselves so they sort of just let me go and do my own thing. They tried to force me out but they weren't serious enough about it, and everything I tried wouldn't work and I'd end up back home where I prefer being so that's it.

Yeah you could say my parents are soft and that your parents wouldn't have put up with it, but whatever, my parents aren't the type of people to get out their kids regardless of their age or how much they've fucked up. I'm a massive burden to them but oh well, that's life.
