We had a non-Jew former small time street criminal visit our high school. He claimed he was sent to Treblinka and barely escaped the gassings numerous times. He was caught by the SS when they saw him stealing an apple, he almost paid with his life for that apple.
He said he was 12 years old when he was deported to the extermination camp, he didn't look older than 60 years. This was in 2006, so he should have been a very young looking 78 years old.

The personal accounts dont add up, you should take them with a grain of salt. Because all of those involved would undoubtedly be biased.

Take a look at the numbers and if you know a bit of math do the numbers go look up how long it takes to cremate a corpse (with modern technology) around 2 hours pr.

1500000 people said to die in Auschwitz

in hours with 1 oven would be 1500000*120 minutes = 180000000 minutes = 3000000 hours

to most i have read is that they had 38 active at any given time (lets give them 12 hours upkeep pr day with full capacity)

3000000/38=78947 hours with them all combined and no malfunction.

78947/12 = 6579 days = 6579/365 = 18 years

Personally i believe it happened but there is no way in hell it happened to the extend they said it did.

It was a political power play. The south was losing economic power since all the previously lucrative colonial agricultural goods were now produced in other countries, so slave labor was needed to compete on the markets. The north was heavily industrialized and could make a profit without slave labor. The south maintained political power by having more votes on their side, but when new states were added to side with the North, that power broke away and the south, afraid to become politically irrelevant, tried to secede, which the north did not allow. The argument against slavery was born from christianity, which was slowly concluding that blacks were humans, too, which made it ammoral to enslave them. The south was of course unwilling to admit to that argument because of their economy and the North was willing to push it, because it would weaken the South. The abolishment of slavery was ultimately a political tool, not the intent. Just look at how utterly indifferent the treatment of blacks became after the war was won.

I am one of the people who actually do research whenever the holocaust deniers present their "evidence". I, for example, remind people that Ausschwitz not only had the capacity to cremate as many as claimed, but actually was performing under capacity. The SS judge that was supposedly killing KZ commanders, was doing that because they were corrupt, not because they wanted to protect the rights of the inmates, as someone just stated.
