Based on principle alone, you will never be understood and will always be opposed.

You should understand this and base your movements striving towards limited government, constitutional rights, laissez-faire markets, and the non-aggression principle.
Move away from identity-based politics and towards a society that can compliment your (radical/retarded) beliefs.
