"White supremacy" and other such buzzwords and mischaracterizations of the right wing form the altar upon which our rights will be sacrificed. Obviously the charlottesville riot, the ensuing media coverage, and the events surrounding it struck a major blow to the right wing today that will have an effect on the overton window that may never reverse, but it's much worse than just that. So many of the responses from media people and regular citizens alike was one of "hate speech isn't free speech!" or "this speech has no place in our country!". Do you know what this means? What I think it was planned as from the start by string pullers and planted figureheads in the alt right alike? This is meant to be the beginning of the end for free speech in this country. This entire event was planned from the ground up to get maximum overblown media coverage and manufacture as much outrage as possible. Outrage they intend to direct towards supporting or at least ignoring the destruction of free speech. Don't be surprised when movements and eventually legislation call for tighter restriction on free speech, the right to assemble, and various other things. The left can never gain ground quickly against an organized and informed right wing... so they'll simply gradually shift what is legal speech closer and closer to the ever accelerating overton window. This means the loss of the right wing, the loss of society, and the loss of freedom. This was a master stroke in their plan. Let all the normies know that free speech must be upheld. Tell them evil ideologies can only win when discussed in secret to avoid the law rather than brought out in public and crushed through debate. Let them know what is to come. The world depends on it.
