His flaw here is in failing to adequately distinguish between the different types of leftist. Some leftism has much in common with his own goals, but other types of leftism will see him being liquidated as land is confiscated and agriculture is collectivised to serve the state. Also they will interfere in his right to his own political and religious views and to raise his own children as he wishes.

The type of leftism he praised is probably a small subset of the whole, and will not end up being dominant in any leftist future.

I think Varg has a good point to some extent, altough i believe he has misdiagnosed most of the alt-right.

I think a lot of alt-righters want the same as him, a environmental-friendly quiet rural life with their own people.

He is spot on with his solution however:
The best thing we can do is not to try to salvage this society. We should do like the amish, but maybe we take a middle road and only employ environmentally sound technology and arms/borders to defend ourselves from outsiders.
