Hes being played into a trap and he probably knows it. They are redoing the pretexts to match the original Korean war, souths desires to reunite the peninsula and all. Trump said that its either military intervention, or China pressures NK into reunification. Last time the South Korean leader said they wanted to reunify the peninsula (during a hostile period of violent skirmishes and spy subterfuge between both of them) Kim Il Sung and North Korea invaded South Korea preempting the US/SK invasion, pretty much taking the whole thing.

The US pushed them back to China, China pushed the US back to the middle (actually surrounded them, almost wiped the whole theaters lines out and encircled them.)

So thats to say, will Kim Il Sung do as his revered Grandfather did, and attack with the south/trumps claims of a desire to reunite the peninsula as a pretext? Or does he simply let them openly push to have that happen. Reunification means regime change. There is no Kim regime stays, and has half power with a SK counterpart or something.
