Regarding the "attack" yesterday in Charlottesville...did the car have a sat uplink? It's something I've not seen discussed at all since this shit went down...Wasn't there a report that came out not too long ago about CIA able to remote control cars and that this may also be connected to a mysterious death of a Wikileaks worker?

Doesn't matter, the car is not drive by wire, neither is the steering.

Drive by wire?

Drive by wire is an electronically controlled throttle body. 99% of all cars are with a cable. Not electronic.
Drive by wire one of the first examples was in the 1988 BMW 750 to keep the two banks of six cylinders balanced in a v12.

Like no physical steering linkage. Computer controlled steering actuators. Most new cars throttles are drive by wire but not the steering. Tesla is full drive by wire. U could literally drive with an Xbox controller if it was programmed to do so
