There is nothing inherently advantageous about cursive in the day and age of affordable ball point pens. We don't have to worry about minimizing hover over the paper with a quill lest the ink blotch more often.

When people write cursive that is neat, it is still a pain to read for people who have gotten used to reading print. This includes professionals.

You know how much of a paint it is for courts to deal with Holographic Wills because of the laws that require those to be handwritten. Thank god when the decedent wrote in print but in cursive they sometimes have to bring in an "expert" to testify and decipher it.

Back in Elementary School my 5th grade teacher gave us an assignment where we would have to write an entire letter to her in cursive. I handed mine in and it was so bad she literally looked me dead in the face and said never write in cursive again. Being left handed, she had the hardest time trying to teach me how to do the shit. It's the same thing for Analog clocks, I knew people who were 16-17 that didn't know how to tell time on one. It's fucking insane.

Then showed it to the guys at the office and laughed some more before he binned it. He printed out a new document and had another colleague sign it. Cursive is a relic of the past anyway. It's purpose is to write faster by keeping the pen on the paper as much as possible. In the computer era it serves no purpose, last time I used it I was in high school. At university test I used block letters because professors that have hard time reading your shit often give you bad marks without reading.
This days 99% of my writing is digital and I basically only write signatures with pens.
