No. I've seen several 2005 and newer cars with more damage sustained wherein the airbags did not deploy. There are 2-3 crush sensors in the front end- unless all of them are fully crushed(thereby allowing contacts to touch), the AB will not deploy. Alright Anon, this investigation appears to have been solved.
Report shows this dude wrecked the car on a curve in July 2015 after the picture was taken and caused $2500 in damage to the front and passenger side.

Need someone to take a screenshot/archive of this thread for future reference.

I repeat, the car had body work done after photos were taken.
