I didn't blindly accept it, I started watching the 200 proof flat earth video to have a laugh too. Then when it made sense I went to NASA and googled official sources (universties, physics forums) to find rebuttals. The counter arguments against the heliocentric model were tenuous at best and broke down when combined together ie we can see curve when ships go over, then they see we can see curve because we are not high enough; our observation that the earth moves at the same speed everyday around the sun, whereas on the heliocentric model we move on an ellipse which cannot allow for constant speed.

There are tons of holes. I live on one of the Great Lakes surrounded by cities and with a telescope I bought for $100 I saw things in the distance I am not supposed to see in terms of curvature. And observing the moon on a daily basis it makes no sense with the model they teach us.
