Okay /pol/ question for the people of Germany

Okay Germany, I have many questions to ask but obviously they all can't be answered in one thread do to trolls and what not. Anyway my questions are how you fell about The Third Reich and Adolf Hitler in general? And for the older people who are here what have your grandfathers or even fathers depending on the age, told you about Nazi Germany. Of course these are very board questions, but answer them the best you can. I'm very interested how the German people feel, for the most part I understand some who are here are complete sympathizers, and will defend the olds state very existence to a T, but I'm more interested in a unbiased opinion, but of course it's a free world so all are welcome. Want this to be a comfy thread.
