Okay, but surely they still have a higher chance for high IQ than children born to average or below average IQ parents. I'm absolutely not buying regression to the mean within two generations. The rich and the elite are at the top for a reason and they remain there for many generations. They absolutely wouldn't be able to do this if they produced average offspring. Yes, momentum of wealth and power helps but it's not enough to last for more than a generation or two without capable heirs.
