When Jesus Christ sacrificed himself to cover the sins of everyone, the ethnic component to "God's Chosen People" was rendered meaningless. Those who find salvation in Jesus Christ are God's chosen people.
In Revelation, the scripture warns of people "who call themselves Jews, but are not Jews."
