So I may as well complain about my problems here just to see if anyone else has to deal with them.

In the last 2 years I've had to move 5 times, about 5 to be 6. I lived with family for a year, but my family are difficult and then we moved into a flat without hot water, internet or a washing machine.

From December to June I rented a room in an old ladies house, I think she was lonely but I just wanted a room, not a friend.

I've rented a much cheaper room for the last 2 months and I was given notice 2 weeks ago, only a 2 week notice contract. Everything seemed fine, but now every time I see my landlady she just asks me when I'm leaving in a 'get the fuck out of here' tone. I've got till the 20th and the only rooms I can find on shot notice are expensive.

I thought I would struggle with jobs, talking to people, having a routine, ect. but the biggest worry in my life is and has been housing. Anyone else feel like this?

Has been at times. I lived at a place for 6 months and bailed without warning because the landlord was such a mentally imbalanced wierdo. I managed to get a couple of years at a time out of a place after that though, which is a problem in itself if you're stuck somewhere shit, which I was each time.

I've spoken to some other people with accomodation hell stories, it's suprising how common it is. Renting a lodger room in someones house seems to be the easiest option, you just have to pick right and get someone who isn't crazy.

It's all a bit of a minefield in the end.
