If you get them at the same time they will likely be in sequence or near it. If both cars were reregistered in a new state together it makes sense.

Because when you register more then one car at once they give you the top two plates off the pile. They often are consecutive numbers.


My cars plate ends in 31 and my trucks plate is 32

That's my impression, too anon, that the hippie-artist kid Joel V, sod the car to Fields (the crash driver), yet the GVF1111 plate transferred over. From person experience, buying/selling cars in other states, never has a plate transferred at the DMV.

Another anon claimed that in Ohio, his native state like Fields, plates must be displayed on the FRONT AND BACK of a registered vehicle. OP's image of Fields's mother does not negate this claim, her plate is on the front.
