What have protests ever achieved since the french revolution, anyway? At this point it really seems like everytime a political group, left or right, tries to make a rally, the net result is negative.
The one that tries harder always get the worst result.
The unite the right rally was cringy as fuck. Those boys should have never left their home. At this point, antifa should have done nothing, and let the white supremacists cringe.
It was bad for the left when the counter-protests began, because there would be violence for sure (Antifa brought bats and sledgehammers and brick).
At this point, if the right had done nothing, the overall sentiment on this happening would be negative on the violent left attacking a controversial but peaceful protest.
But then an edgy teen ran over some people. Now the public sentiment is negative in the domestic terroris right.
Doing shit on the streets achieve nothing.
Don't ever protest, don't ever retaliate.
