Getting sick of the bullshit "he didn't do it" conspiracy and pseudo-EWO bullshit threads. Let's presume the guy they arrested was the guy that was driving the car. Why should he be legally responsible for the death and injuries in this incident?
>He clearly accelerated into the other car!
Cars can do weird shit, especially when their drivers fuck up. If you've watched any accident footage compilations, there's always one where some idiot puts it in drive instead of reverse, or hits the gas instead of the brake, and goes fucking flying.
That's the key: Fuck up. Not deliberate, not murder. At worst, based on what we know so far, the guy could be convicted of criminally negligent homicide.
>He shouldn't have been driving there!
Public road. Other cars were moving through there. Traffic was stopped because some idiot parked his car right there for a moment, but what of it?
Moreover, for the purposes of criminal law, it's not necessarily relevant that he went to a place where it might not be safe to operate his vehicle. It only matters if he intended to run down people and had planned it out ahead of time.
>He fled the scene!!!
I don't blame him. Good chance he'd be dead if he hadn't.
