My take on the days events:
>already chaos in the city
>suspect driving in place he's unfamiliar with (he's from Ohio)
>antifa aggressively protesting in the street he's heading down
>doesn't want to slow down and get recognized / swarmed, so he's traveling (dangerously) fast given how many pedestrians there are
>crowd obscures two stationary cars ahead of him until it's too late
>plows into the car ahead
>people start attacking the car, breaking the rear windshield, etc.
>fearing for his safety, he throws it in reverse and flees the scene
>gives himself up at the first moment it's safe to do so
Is this not the most reasonable explanation? He's still likely a neo-nazi piece of shit but this seems more like a tragedy of circumstance than a crazed lunatic out for blood.

people were hitting his car before he accelerated into them.
