well, historically, turks were always considered the invaders of Europe, and invaders of whites in general.

Sure, geographically, and maybe 2000 years ago they were white (in the same sense iranians are white, lol), but no one really believes that the turks are actual "white people" per-se.

The problem comes in when turks move to Germany or France or anywhere in Europe and they try to say they're white and try to assimilate into a society that never saw them as "european".

If you visit Turkey, especially as a European, you will see differences in manners, social statuses, rights, etc. in full display on the street. Turkey is literally just Afghanistan or Iraq, but with more money, and illusions of grandeur.

For 25+ years, Turkey has tried to weasel itself into the EU, in order to be considered "white", but if the Russians aren't considered "fully european whites", then turks with brown skin SURE the hell aren't lmao.

This is all well known within Europe, only Americans make silly comments like "some of you are white op".

Most of these threads are made because turks, after some time on the internet, realize that no one really thinks they're white or european. In school, however, they've been taught that this is true.

Met a guy in a bar in Stockholm, dude was Turk and about the color of caramel. Everyone was drinking beers and chatting and stuff, and the guy wouldn't shut up about how turks are actually europeans and how turks were really ancient italians and spanish.

Dude was maybe 20-25, and everyone at the table (all whites, and one korean) was listening to the guy and not saying anything, because it was so ridiculous. So the korean told him he has to be proud of turkey and his people, he doesnt have to make up stuff, he should just be proud of being a middle easterner, and not worry about being a white european.

Then he said "well its easier for you asians to blend in, you're whiter". And that, folks, from the mouth of a second generation turk with swedish mother, and turk father. No. Spent 4 years in stockholm getting my degree, and I've spent so much time in clubs and bars and met SO many people from everywhere in the world.

I think America actually is stricter than France on being white-friendly, but we are less demanding on an inclusionary basis.
