Bitcoin just reached 4k a coin /pol/
What the fuck happened?
>>
Whatever. It's never going to go over $1. Why should I bother getting any?
>>
>>137198508

wtf are you talking about?
>>

I just started buying bitcoin. going to HOLD and continue to squirrel away money every pay check. its projected to hit 100k per coin by 2021
>>
I just cashed out the modest amount I had left from mining years ago

$6.4k.

Watch it go up to $10k or something a coin by next month. Oh well.

Hold, this is your opportunity to be part of something bigger than the internet itself. We are taking the world back from the authoritarian socialist faggots. The world is back in control of sane human beings.
>>
>>137199941
I hope you're holding your Bitcoin Cash, not sure if you've been paying attention but limiting the blocksize and implementing Segwit is an attempted takeover by the authoritarian socialist faggots. They don't want you using Bitcoin, it will be too expensive, they want you using their patented payment channels complete with identity verification and chargebacks.
>>
this is good for bitcoin.
>>
>>137201323

I work in the industry, I've had btc since 2012.
>>
>>137201323

I hold both but you have a misunderstanding of the tradeoffs between bigger blocks and segwit/lightning.

lol. Absolute mongoloid comment. Stick to etc junior

I got .4 btc from mining litecoins(for a week) when they were like $5 each and trading on BTC-E. I was staying at my dad's at the time and he threw a shitfit because he's like 99% boomer so he believes a PC can't be used for anything besides videogames. He shut down my mining real quick. When bitcoins hit $1000 i tried to show him how he fucked me out of so much money it's not even funny but he just threw it back in my face and called me a retard and said I was a waste of space.

That .4 btc a week from mining with 1 7970 would be more than my monthly income now after trade school.

I lost that .4 btc because I didn't understand how a bitcoin wallet works and I cashed out to a wallet that showed a wallet code or whatever but it never went through because I didn't have a big enough drive to download the whole blockchain.

The worst part is that I accurately predicted when the bubble popped, twice, so if I'd been able to trade then I would've easily cleared $30,000 in about a month.
>>
how far do you guys think bitcoin will decline before it starts climbing again? obviously all this media hype over the record-setting bitcoin right now has brought in a lot of new folks (including myself). the more BTC drops the more money I'm going to invest and hold.

how do I start trading or "merching" BTC? what program/website do I use to "buy low, sell high"? the one I tried to use today doesn't support people living in oregon.
>>
>>137197489
Simple, people have high hopes about this coin and more and more people know about it. As long as the people don't panic, the coin is gonna get stronger

bump for desperation
>>
Anyone based in Cuilican that can tell us if there are 'cash for BTC' vendors on every corner? That would make me much more likely to purchase coins.

You are hopeless, meant to be poor, low IQ moron if you compare BTC to tulips.

It's easy to make a prediction when you don't have thousands of dollars on the line. You sound like a coward faggot who would have cashed out early.

All you really have to do is not be a faggot, work, save your money in btc and dont try to be "smart" by timing the market.

I had mined half a bitcoin years ago, bought a PC with it, and have no regrets. I know a few guys who bought pizzas with bitcoins when they were like 3 dollars a coin though, they must be kicking themselves right now.

I did get into the ground floor of dogecoin though, I made a fair amount off of them. Nothimg in the six figures range, but /biz/ would be proud.

Mt Gox happened.

That's an interesting opinion you've got there, buddy.
