I would guess a minimum 30 MPH+ and sudden deceleration. This is clearly not the case, as the car hits 2 other non braked cars until it is completely stopped. The other telling is that the damaged parts are the "soft" ones and they remain attached to the car (see in >>137188760 headlights, plastic bumper, hood). There are no bent structural members or other damages related to sudden deceleration. The radiator has no leaks and the car was still drivable after the incident.

If we want to know if the car was manipulated to not deploy the airbags, we should check that the fusebox still has the airbag's fuse. And the ECU in the case that a manual override options exists.

Challenger owner here. Flood lights are in all of them, at least the hole and something which is a placeholder for it is.

The car is missing a stripe in the original picture, but I believe that the middle stripe is only an option for an SRT with the 465hp V8. This is a low test beta male V6 version which means this kid likely added the stripe as an aftermarket modification, a quick search for Challenger SE aftermarket decals/stripes on google will give some examples.

Ohio requires front license plates, but the car was purchased from Kentucky. If this picture was taken when the vehicle was purchased, it's possible that it did not yet have its Ohio registration/plates yet. Also, the front bumper doesn't come drilled for the plates so we wouldn't see a spot for the plate or drill holes on a car sold in a state which doesn't require a front plate.

The windshield is interesting, but may have more to do with the lighting of the first vs. 2nd and the angle of the picture. It's also possible that the original windshield was smashed or broken and then replaced between these two photos. I've had replacement windshields which did or didn't have the tint expected before after getting hit by a rock on the highway.

The thing I find interesting is that the airbags never deployed here. That's pretty suspect, though I read about product recalls for something I've never heard of an airbag in one of these failing to deploy from such a strong crash.

Fascinating. These are some very weird circumstances (especially no police on that street, and the helicopter crash), but the skeptic in me just doesn't quite believe this could be the case.

If things like this happen, ever, how do get away with it? It seems like a very high risk that something could go wrong during an operation like that. Someone might film the switcheroo. Someone might shoot the the driver or otherwise stop the car and local law enforcement would apprehend the wrong man.
