I'm don't know enough about Buddhism to answer for it but I can tell you that much of Christianity and Judaism built off of Zoroastrianism. Take for instance the view of a "Satan" figure. Judaism did not have that until it started contact with Zoroastrianism. I do believe Jesus was an important spiritual figure as he was predicted by Zoroastrians, the Magi.

Christianity is viewed as one of the "Good religions" meaning they somewhat follow the basic truths. Good thoughts, Good words, and Good deeds. I like that Zoroastrianism lacks the idiocy of Christianity and Islam: the maddening cruelty of pointless and eternal punishment, and idiocy of all powerful god tolerating evil while not being evil himself.
