Do you ever see the USA becoming a communist country?

We're too fat to be a communist country.

I think the boomers would elect a communist if it meant their medicare and social security would be secure. They are very fatalistic people and realize its over soon. If it meant seizing everyone's bank account to satisfy their retirement needs for the short term they would do it.

It'll take another economic crisis though.

Not while I'm alive.

Lets see, the Great Depression couldn't do it, the Cultural Revolution couldn't do it, the Great Recession couldn't do it. I would say if the US managed to survive all these events and not flip, then no. The US will never accept communism.
