People's protection Unit. Can someone give me the essentials on this organization?

and i got skeptical why would a finnish guy would do this. Is this legit organization for the "good guys" as he says or is it some trickery?

Kurds are communists who set up their own militas to fight ISIS during the civil war.
Nowadays their "people's protection units" and entire government is a front for mercenaries and US special forces to fight ISIS and occupy Syria. When the war is over all the commies in Rojova are going to be ousted and replaced with a US puppet democracy and it's basically going to turn into a big permanent American airbase for deployment against Iran and Assad.
