Get some perspective. Pic related is the 10kt nuke North Korea tested in 2013 if thrown on LA.
Yes, quite a lot of casualties, but VERY FUCKING FAR from 'destroying a whole city'.
Here, check it yourselves:

Not if airburst. And airburst is the way to go to destroy more. Map can show fallout, too. Go check it out.
What truly makes damage is not the explosion itself, but everything that follows.

Nukes are just bombs. Powerful in terms of energy density, but fundamentally a bomb like any other. Most people who think past the veneer or fear mongering realize this.
We retool our nuclear arsenal from large bombs into much smaller tactical warheads because we realized their value was extremely limited.
nuking LA would be an improvement

>few thousand people vanish in a flash of light
>city falls into chaos
>more people die
>nuking LA would do literally nothing guise

The pop of l.a. is 3.976 million (2016)
Where as rome is 2 million. You don't know shit about per capita
The only "nuke" going off is the one Mossad is planning.

>population goes from 3.976 million to 3.850 million in a few seconds from a single bomb
mmmm yeah not a big deal who cares
